Location
The property is ideally placed for enjoying the beaches of the Morbihan Peninsular, visiting the medieval towns or exploring the valley of the river Blavet with its walking, cycling, sailing and fishing (permits available locally). Larmor Plage, Guidel Plage and Carnac are approximately 50 minutes away and offer beach-based activities such as sailing and horse riding. The route along the coast is pretty with lots of parking to explore the beaches and small towns.

The property is located in a small hamlet just five minutes away from a village with a picturesque square, church, post office, shops, bars and restaurants and bakery.

Baud (14 km) is a thriving small town with all the essentials, Saturday market and at least three supermarkets.

Pontivy (20 km) has an imposing castle and is part medieval with winding narrow streets that contrast starkly with the wide, straight boulevards of the later part of the town, built to a Napoleonic plan. Pontivy has all the usual large town facilities and services. There are several schools, doctors, dentists, a hospital, banks and a railway station. Shopping is great, with well-known chain stores and supermarkets as well as unique boutiques and a lively Monday morning market. For entertainment there is a cinema, a large event hall, a nightclub, a bowling alley and a swimming pool with indoor and outdoor facilities. There are also numerous restaurants, cafes and bistros.

Carnac (56 km) is well known for its prehistoric megalithic monuments similar to those on Salisbury Plain. The purpose of the impressive rows of standing stones remains a mystery.

Zoo at Pont Scorff (36 km). Adventure Park at Quelneuc www.aventure-parc.fr has ariel activities, climbing ropes and abseiling, suitable for over 8 years of age. Odet Loisirs Amusement Park http://www.odet-loisirs.fr is approximately 1.5 hours away and is suitable for all age groups.
