The Land
The land is divided in to two sections. Approximately 1,5 hectares, enclosed with the house behind walls, is laid to lawn with shrubs, numerous mature trees and an orchard. The remaining 1,3 hectares outside the wall consist of pasture and a small section of woodland bounded by a river which feeds the lake. There is a magnificent view out over the forests and valleys of the Creuse.

The Lake
The lake is approximately 2400 sqm and used to be a commercial pecherie but the previous owners did not renew the licence when it fell due in 2002. The lake is now classified ‘eau libre’ and only for private use. However, when the owner purchased the property earlier this year the notaire seemed to think that there would not be a problem should one wish to re-apply for the licence, but that there would be some maintenance required on the lake before this was granted. It is not know if there are still fish in the lake as it has not been fished recently.
