This very attractive semi-detached house is situated in a small village located in the department of the Haute-Vienne, but sits very close to the border with the département of the Charente. It is about 20 km from the towns of Confolens, St. Junien and Bellac

The village is a place of geological and folkloric interest with unusual bulbous granite formations giving the village its unique character. This is a very beautiful rural area, with most land being either woodland or farmland. The local industry is principally livestock farming. The landscape is wooded, hilly and verdant, with a very low population density.

There is fantastic outriding with bridleways and footpaths covering hundreds of kilometres starting from the village, with almost no need to use public roads.

The nearest village with day to day facilities is 4 km and has butcher, baker, hairdressers, mini-supermarket, pharmacy, etc.
