Nearest equestrian centre, which also run a riding club and competitions, is 10 minutes. Villedieu-les-Poêles riding club showground is 15 minutes and its president lives a few minutes away down the lane (he is also the mayor of the village) and very helpful. A brand new indoor and outdoor show centre has been built this side of Vire. There is also an international show centre at St Lo, 40 minutes drive. International shows are also held at Caen, Dinard and Deauville. There are many feed suppliers and farriers locally, including English.

Plenty of hacking down quiet lanes and tracks and into the St Sever forest.

All the paddocks have mains water and are well fenced with wooden posts and electric tape. Hay is taken from the fields and supplies the owners’ 5 horses with hay for the year.
