The beautiful and historic old port of La Rochelle is just over an hour and is served by Ryanair (from Stansted and Dublin), Easyjet (from Gatwick and Bristol), Flybe (from Southampton, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow) and Jet2 ( from Edinburgh and Leeds). The Venise Verte, Futuroscope, Saumur – home to the world famous Cadre Noir, Loire valley and Cognac are all within driving distance.
